Good question. And here’s exactly how it happened.
Fred leaned forward in his chair and said, “We bring customers to our clients’ fun stuff.”
He tipped his hat back and said, “We bring fun customers to our fun clients’ fun stuff through fun social media.”
Then we started working the Register.com search engine coming up with cool business names. The first one we hit was FunCityStuff. The second was FunCitySocialMedia. We ran through six or eight dozen others, but finally came back and landed on the first ones that slipped out.
We maintain FunCityStuff as a series of Twitter feeds, including @DFWstuff, @AustinStuff, @SATStuff (San Antonio), and @HOUStuff (yep, Houston). Nearly 40,000 people follow these feeds, which send out tweets about once per hour highlighting fun things to do in those fun cities. People love it. And it gives us a ready audience of active shoppers to whom we can promote our clients’ fun stuff.
Then we found Renee to bring her creative Web design skills to the table, and we had a three-legged platform to offer FunCitySocialMedia to the world. Our goal is much as Fred first uttered it: We bring customers to our clients’ fun stuff through social media marketing.
Give us a call. We’d love to add you to our roster of fun clients.
